We are actively hiring 3-4 Ph.D. Students for fall 2026 cycles. We are looking for motivated students who have passion for any of the following domains:

• Novel Sensing
• Bio-electronics
• Low-Power/Battery-free Systems
• Electronic Device Fabrication and Rapid Prototyping
• Computational Fabrication
• Embedded System Design (PCB fab, circuit design)
• Applied Machine Learning
• Smart textiles
• Soft-Robotics and Actuators
• Human Computer Interaction
  
  You may apply to the PhD program in either Computer Science or Electrical and Computer Engineering, and list PI Arora as a potential advisor you are interested in working with. PI Arora will review all applications personally in late December and email selected students for interviews in January–February.

We only look for UG/MS seriously interested in becoming part of our research group. Each research project is important for the career of one of our PhD/MS students; we rely on each UG/MS to be a reliable team member and committed to making the project a success. In turn, you will be a member of a family-style research team with great mentoring, learn many new skills, and have a professional looking project on your portfolio.
